"Someone mentioned Nick Saben, the highest paid college football coach in the nation."
Don't forget he also gets free use of two vehicles, a 15-seat skybox in the north end zone of Bryant-Denny Stadium, 25 hours of free non-commercial airline travel, a country club membership and a $5 million term life insurance policy. Because, you know, someone who makes only $5,316,666 a year can`t possibly afford those things on their own.

OldOllie-"except the players get paid Jack Squat."
They get a free education, if they're smart enough to make use of it. For what it costs to attend most public universities, that works out to less than minimum wage, and if they get hurt, they`re kicked to the curb. Plus, they aren`t allowed enough study time to pursue a degree in anything useful like math or computer science. That`s why they all graduate with degrees in physical education or marketing or something equally worthless. I used to laugh at the player interviews before the bowl games. On each team about 3/4 of the players all had the same major, so you knew what the totally pud curriculum was.
