By the way, the real conservatives DO consider this to be abortion since there is no interference with fertilization. The expected hormonal effect is that an embryo is unable to attach to the uterine lining and is, therefore, lost. So, assuming that fertilization occurs, this is a form of intentional abortion. Unfortunately, I can't argue with that logic.

@SmagBoy1, On one hand, as a father of 2 young teenage girls, I'm a bit uncomfortable that easy access to Plan B may let them think it`s safe to have sex now. On the other hand, as an Obstetrician who`s done C-sections and abortions on 13 year old girls, I think Plan B is a MUCH BETTER alternative! The only issue, then, is protecting them from STD`s which can have really awful outcomes. So, yeah, you`re right.
