Fisker really borrowed $192 million, and the loss to taxpayers ended up at just $171 million. Yes, that's a lot of money but it`s a) VERY FAR from the $529 million LIE you`re spreading and b) just 0.04% of our annual budget.

Yeah, "ideally", lots of things happen. "Ideally" Fisker would have made good on $529 million dollars in loan guarantees before going bankrupt. They didn't. "Ideally" Solyndra would have paid back $535 million. They didn`t. "Ideally", Musk will pay back his loans. Do you honestly believe that is going to happen selling one model of a car with a short range that costs $100k? In this economy? Good luck with that.
