@ Atrayu and anyone else interested:
One thing that absolutely blew my mind about this case was that within 24 hours of the discovery of Alexander's body, Jodi Arias placed a couple calls to the detective leading the investigation. The call was recorded and they played it early in the trial. It was a LONG call--went on for over 30 minutes--and Arias was saying she "absolutely wanted to do anything she could" to help solve the crime. This woman was a stellar liar: you have to hear the call to believe it. It`s almost impossible to mentally process the fact that the person who reached out to the detective to help solve the crime would later admit that it was SHE who did it (in self-defense, she says).

@Atrayu: You're right. Arias converted to Mormonism a few months into dating Travis Alexander. Alexander himself performed her baptism at the ceremony. She still professes to be a Mormon.
I went from knowing nothing about this (I don`t have a TV) to reading about it nonstop over a couple of days. Once I looked into it, I couldn`t believe what a crazy story it was.

Not that I care, (and not that it matters) but I was recently in California and my cousins were watching this on one of the California channels (can't recall which) that said they were both Mormon.

@Tupinambis: Well, perhaps you have some of Jodi Arias's talents there. Myself? If I`d recently murdered a lover in a gruesome fashion, there is simply NO WAY I could invite the local media and sit in front of the cameras like that, cool as a cucumber, with not a trace of fear or even nervousness.
