This Is How Education Works? [Pic]. Not if this sign is any indication. Somebody needs to educate them on how gears actually work.

The number of current sitting Conservatives is not even remotely relevant. The education system as it exists is unmistakably neo-liberal. This is how it has evolved over many decades.

I'm not talking about the education system espousing liberal ideas. I`m talking about the system itself being liberal, i.e., controlled by the state with an iron fist.

Liberals are nothing if not predictable. Anytime it's a case of idiot liberals, they`re not liberals, they`re just plain idiots.

Please then, @ollie, explain to me how I currently live in a province with an overwhelming conservative majority in the province. Literally they have 49 seats to the NDP (left wing) having 9 seats. Yet my teacher friends constantly complain about having to teach kids in grade 7 how to do math with scraps of construction paper, or having to wipe their a$$es so as to preserve their precious little thoughts about how great these kids think they are. If you can tell me how that`s the fault of liberals (btw the last non-conservative premier we had was in 2007) when they have no way to influence my provincial government`s policies, and it isn`t just some rant about liberal f*cktards, I`ll listen.

"You obviously are too stupid to realize that an educated society is a benefit for the entire society and not just those who become educated."

You're obviously too stupid to see that what we`re getting is the complete OPPOSITE of an educated society!

Sure, we may have plenty of degrees and diploms floating around, but very little actual knowledge and skill!

We have people graduating high school not knowing how to read, FFS!

@MeGrendel~ And you think that might have *something* to do with the constant defunding of education over the last 30+ years?
And the fact that up to 80% of education funding is paying for administration rather than teaching students.

You get what you pay for, so if you don't like the quality of education coming out of the system, then maybe we should pay more attention to the system.

BTW; studies have shown that it is the Republican Party that benefits from the dumbing down of society.

Why do you think it is that the majority of college student, Professors, teachers, and scientists are liberal progressives?
It is because once you have the knowledge and ability to reason, you understand how the selfish "Me First" attitude adopted by conservatives is what is dragging our country down.

When you step over the bodies of others to get ahead, all you have left behind is a country full of dead bodies.
