the only thing the constitution was made to do is to explicitly establish what the government cannot do. The right to keep and bear arms is a basic human right. Not necessarily isolated to firearms, don't be so closed. You don`t understand , you cannot just "give up" a few rights to be safer. how do you suppose you would be safer? in fact if you gave up just one of your first 10 rights, you probably wouldn`t be able to post your disillusioned responses without them having to be approved by a resident adviser.
let`s not make this about anything in particular. Let`s just say, that in America, You DONT give up your rights FOR ANYTHING. EVER. PERIOD.

@Papajon You must misunderstand me. I never said it wasnt biased. Im just pointing out that regardless of what the kid had written, someone would be able to called it biased.
Offtopic: It all skews to the right, its the US ^^
"It's biased to not want to give up basic human rights"
The constitution does not discuss many basic human rights. Owning a gun is not a basic human right. Voting is not a basic human right. The right to a trial by jury in civil matters over $20 is not a basic human right.
The constitution discusses very specific legal rights.
