I don`t know if you meant "sacred" in a religious sense, but my views on abortion have NOTHING to do with religion.

A blastula is just a stage of embryo development yes? So I don`t see the distinction you are making.

Ova and sperm are not the same thing. If you leave an ova or sperm alone it simply dies. If you leave an embryo alone it becomes a baby.

MrOrange: That's because the -cillins and -cyclines are pretty much our top notch antibiotics and if they stop working we are in a world of hurt.

That year I got an infection in the hospital that required IV antibiotics, they had to use one of the strongest ones they had. Finally after two weeks of treatment I was able to go home.

Don`t want to see anyone go through what I did.

I love dancing, but prefer to do that with women,
so to remain on the subject. I've posted a qoute containing the fda antibiotics and growth hormones, it`s not that hard to find info on it as it is quite a controversial subject. Profit versus public health. We do agree on the livestock situation though and once again you lucky S.O.B. for living where you do.

"For 34 years, the FDA considered the routine use of penicillins and tetracyclines in animal feed, for purposes like growth promotion, a public health threat. The agency had moved in 1977 to withdraw its approval for these animal feed products on the grounds that such use had not been shown to be safe for people. That official stance remained on the books until 2011."

There are no growth hormones or steroids in antibiotics. I know that antibiotics are used more heavily in crowded lots and small caged animals. I detest that sort of mistreatment of animals, that's simply not done out here where I live.

As I said though, probiotics are being experimented with and may have benefits for people that eat the meat from animals that are treated with them.
