up until Lady Thatcher came to power the country could be held to ransom by the big 3 trade unions. she decided to end their bullying. they tried to fight her with strikes and violence, most noticeably Arther Scargill. But they lost, and because they chose to fight using their members as expendable pawns, their industries paid the price. scargill and his ilk played a greater role in the damage to british industry than her.

I have often heard it said that Thatcher was, "Reagan in lipstick and heels." And while my knowledge of the details of her political stewardship are admittedly foggy at best, if the comparison holds I can say one thing with full confidence- F*ck Reagan and the horse he rode in on.

I tried so hard, i know that to celebrate the death of an old an frail woman is terrible. I don't though- I celebrate the death of a monster who destroyed my country, we are reaping what she sowed even now. she wrecked lives without pity or remorse, thousands died in lonely poverty due to her. She died in The Ritz....
