Titled by someone who has never had a cat freak out on them. I've had cats (and helped clean friend`s cast) where, if you weren`t in full plate armor, you`d be bloody by the time it was over. This cat just yowled, it didn`t go for flesh.

If you give them baths as kittens and keep it to a once a month or quarterly schedule, they know what's coming and don`t freak out. In fact, I don`t even have to hold one of my cats in the sink and I think he may enjoy it.
On another note, that is one awesome pussy, and she has a cat, too.

@Squrlz4: It's true, something like 80% of allergic people can be helped by weekly cat-bathing. Not perfectly, but vastly improved. They`re allergic to something in the saliva, which gets deposited on the fun, which then sheds everywhere...
@Nickel2: This is true! The "licking" part is instinctive, but "grooming" is learned. I had a kitty who thought he was a dog (at first). Another cat had to teach him many cat-like behaviors. Like proper grooming. He learned fast! Was a spotlessly clean kitty after that
