If rainwater is a public resource why is Medford able to claim it? It does appear (stocking it, building a dock) that he's not being up and up on his interests and ecologically he is changing the zoning. It`s sad, in this age, that political correctness supercedes individual action. Another twenty years you won`t be able to sh*t without a lawyer.

"Can't just build a dam, dude. It affects the flora/fauna, wetlands, fish and associated ecosystem"
He wasn`t damning up a river. Just scooped up a couple of ponds as a water reservoir in the event of fire.
People just aren`t allowed to protect themselves anymore. No guns. No ponds. Here in southern California we are not allowed to plant fire-resistant plants around our homes because ice-plant etc. is not indigenous. Even though we have annual wild fires that destroy homes.
The gov`ment just has to go. Toss it out and make a new one.
