Probably felt like she was indebted to the donor, was uncomfortably reminded that the balance in the employee-boss relationship had shifted due to the Wookie Life-debt incurred, and tried to get the employee as far out of the way as possible so she didn't have to deal with it.

just an example of why i feel bosses uniformly suck. my last boss had me fired because i pointed out to her that she was an employee of the corporation, just like me, only with better perks.
hope you're rotting from the inside out, debbie. but i`m sure the early alzheimer`s is more noticeable now anyway.

Seems a lot more to this then what's being said. But her boss never should have accepted the kidney or had procedures set in place to remove any responsibility for the donating employee. As a result for her stupidity I expect a big settlement she`ll have to pay.
And as for the no special circumstances for having a few days off work. Eh didn`t you give special circumstances for her to take time off to be a organ donor?

I kinda think there may be a lot more to this. she did not actually donate a kidney to her boss did she- she donated a kidney and her boss moved up the queue and also got one.... it 'could` be right but I would not bank on it!
