Very cool, Nathan Anderson (comic in the picture)just did a whole week at the comedy club I work at. Very funny and has a really good energy. If you have a chance to see his set, check it out.

@whodat The GI Bill is a powerful recruitment tool. Student loans are the worst. On the other hand, they generally carry a significantly lower risk of being shot at. (I'm not being glib here. I respect the heck out of people who choose that path; it`s just not for everyone.) You paid for your education, just with a different coin. Glad it worked out for you.

That's pretty much what I did in high school. Then I joined the Marines, served 8 years, got out and joined the IBEW apprenticeship program. I even got to collect my GI Bill because an apprenticeship counts the same as being enrolled in college so I got paid by the union and the gov`t to learn how to become a jorneyman electrician. Now I make more money than most of the people I went to school with who all have degrees and have to work half of their lives just pay off their student loans.
