I asked if he was cured. He doesn`t know. He keeps taking the medicine which is an insane $3,500 a month. Drug companies are pure evil.

However, this in itself isn`t a cure for HIV, just a treatment that is very effective (seemingly) for very young infants.

Gerry1of1 Male, 50-59, Western US 25687 Posts	Monday, March 4, 2013 10:10:56 AM If only... but no, this isn't a viable treatment. It`s way too soon to say the kid`s "cured". The virus can be anywhere in the body. Also, it`s possible the virus just hadn`t taken hold yet so this time it was killed off. But those same drugs have been used many, many times without curing. Good luck kid, hope it works for you.
