Where would the millions of gallons of water have gone, I wonder? remember when egyptians considered what they knew as the whole world? how about when the americas didn`t exist 500 years ago? you`re confusing what WE know as the whole world, and what someone 2000 years ago would`ve considered the whole world.

It is almost exactly the same story, only substitute the Judeo-Christian God for the Mesopotamian Pantheon." The author also talks about how that story was worked into the Noah story also (starting on page 79). It's a pretty interesting book. I wouldn`t recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their faith though.
