I don't think most people feel any differently than what you say. The atomic age brought lots of advances, but that doesn`t mean people should have supported the nuclear arms race.

Technology cannot be stopped, just learn to live with it. They're not exactly rounding people up, so it`s ok. No sense in being Luddites over every little thing that divorces us from pre-1920`s society.

I have the same opinion of this as I do for London's camera network. Don`t do anything you are not supposed to do in public and there`s no issue. It`s really only a lack of privacy if someone is posting it for public view, like Google maps, or any person with a camera on their cell phone.
