A LOT of firearms dealers and distributors are now refusing to sell any guns to law enforcement agencies that they cannot sell to citizens in that jurisdiction.
[quote">Large-capacity magazines are defined as magazines having the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds for any handgun and more than 5 rounds for any rifle or shotgun.....the bill would make such possession unlawful only if it occurs (1) in a public place.... and (2) within 20 feet of a firearm capable of accepting such magazine. The bill would exempt certain shooting ranges from the definition of “public place,†so that the possession and use of large-capacity magazines at such ranges would not be prohibited[/quote">

@Skypirate- I was thinking of Sean Bell, and several folks out in L.A.- whose names I can't recall- but yeah, Diallo works as an illustration. One cop yells `gun!` and every cop on the scene succumbs to mob mentality- there just has to be a better way to train these people- certainly there could be better laws in place to hold them accountable for their actions.

Isn't this the law they -literally- passed at Midnight?
(sarc) Why should "laws" apply to cops? They are above the law. Rape, murder, graft, arson, kidnapping, NO laws for cops! Why should "laws" apply to RETIRED cops? They`re not "normal people" who should be forced to "obey laws" after all! (/sarc)
