Because they read something on a blog, saw entertainment tonight, etc etc. As someone who works in post-production, this is VERY refreshing to see. It`s about damn time the word got out about how disgusting a sweat-shop it is. There is no other industry where people have such high-skill, education, and put such investment into themselves to have such little return. It would blow your mind how poorly everyone is paid & treated, and worst of all, how thankless the job is... even though it saves everyone`s ass, EVERY. TIME. There are times I make less than minimum wage, get no compensation for overtime, have no benefits, sick days, etc. And I`m reminded, every day, how lucky I am to be working by someone who can barely use a computer, takes a 2 hour lunch, and makes $2500 a week.
