I think the star-ship "Magellan" is a galaxy class starship (like enterprise D)....but there is a ship called the "Nautilus" which is a Magellan class star-ship. So the ship they labeled Magellan in the end credits was actually the Nautilus.

When in doubt go to Memory Alplha. If it aint there it don't exist.
"The USS Magellan was a Federation starship that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century. In the 2360s, the Magellan was under the command of Captain Conklin. (TNG: "Starship Mine")" PHOTO
Obviously not the same ship as in this video. So I suppose it`s a Fan Invention he slipped into the vid. It has the look of FireFly mixed in.

What amazes me as an oldie is that what you can do on the desktop now completely blows what ILM was doing say 10/15 years ago out of the water.

@Gerry: Agreed.. But if my memory serves, it wasn't an actual federation ship. An alien had disguised his vessel as a federation ship to lure the voyager crew to leave voyager, so he could kidnap them and take them to the Borg for assimilation. Something about revenge, i think.
@turdburglar: correction, i image-googled Magellan, and a pics of a ship of the same design came up. But there was no mention of a ship matching that design on any of the star trek wiki`s.. -> probably fan art.

Kain 1 - Well, in the end credits they mislabeled the Defiant as the Quadrant. They probably did the same with the ship they called Magellan.
I think they under powered the Defiant in this clip. It was the Federations only ship built specifically as a warship. It should have been faster and more powerful.
Also, it would have been awesome if they had the Enterprise D separate the saucer section for the battle.
