This man really has no case. It doesn't matter what the Church considers to be a person if the law doesn`t see it that way. You cannot sue for three deaths when the law says that there is only one person. The church medical group isn`t trying to f this guy over and it is not contradictory to the the Church`s teachings. There is another example of something similar. During George W Bush`s office, the unborn victims of violent act was passed which considered fetuses as people if they were wrongfully killed (excluding abortions). Many Catholics had a problem with this because it is stupid to legally consider them human in certain instances then allow abortions in others. In this video, it seems that the man was just trying to sue for three times more than what the law allowed. If there was wrongdoing such as neglect or malpractice, the man needs to get money from a lawsuit. He doesn`t deserve to get money because the laws defining a human are different from the Church`s teachings

I don't think it matters what anyone else thinks, if you already loved those babies then obviously they were people to you. As far as the hospital goes I think two things 1) that they should be held responsible for anything they did wrong, or for any neglect and 2) that a religion like catholicism has no place in health care, it`s always going to be fraught with contradiction.
