If Americans have a problem, then they shouldnt take our shows (yes that includes The Weakest Link). I just think its another pathetic display of American humour based on insult, innuendo, and slapstick. Not funny.

The idea is "Here is the utterly surreal dog puppet thing whose wit is so sharp it flays everyone alive regardless of who they are." Everything and everyone is a thing for Triumph "to poop on." And he just does it so well." It`s not a case of not getting it, thats a poor defence of the supposed humour. That may be surreal to you guys, but it`s not for us. We had Rod Hull and his Emu puppet attacking people decades ago. We`ve known for ages that having a puppet allows certain behavioural rules to be broken, and you`re only just catching on. And as for sharp wit? Nonsense, Simon hardly even bothered to give him anything to reply to, and no doubt the puppeteer had plenty of time to prepare.
