SarahofBorg, "but statistics don't lie." Actually, 49% of all statistics are male. i.e. liers. So statistically, almost half of all statistics are lies.

SarahofBorg-"but statistics don't lie."
That is true, but it`s very easy to lie about statistics.
The statistic that `women earn 72 cents for every dollar men make` is easy to missrepresent. They present as `a woman is making less than a man for the same work`, when in reality it represents the average woman`s pay vs. the average man`s pay accross the population.
Here`s a good example: Me (a male) and a co-worker (a female) worked the same job. Last year I made over $20,000 more than she did.
People with an agenda would state `she gets paid less because she is female`. When the reality is that we both make the same hourly wage. We both have the same opportunity, but I work all available overtime, while she refuses to work any overtime. (and yes, she feels the fact that I made that much more is `unfair`. But then she`s an idiot who doesn`t see the connection between `less work` equals `less pay`.)
