Uh, I return bottles all the time and by what I can see that's no less than a hundred or so bucks. I would totally spend 20+ minutes returning them to make that money.

I kinda wish I lived there, that would be nice.

We do this not because of the money, but because it's the best thing to do. You`re (at least I`m) going to recycle them one way or another, may as well make some change before grocery shopping.

In college we stashed all of our empties in an unused closet and returned them when we had a car load. Amazing how much cheap beer that will net you.

n washington State we have curb side recycling. In 2011 our state recycled more than we threw away. I think the 2012 numbers will be even better because they started letting us throw food in the yard waste bins.
