"Yes and being spayed or neutered sound so lovely but no one preaches against that."
If there was an effective pet contraceptive, that would be preferable. But there isn't. And being spayed or neutered doesn`t have the same consequences. People who declaw, debark and otherwise mutilate their pets because they are too lazy to train them just shouldn`t have pets.

Imagine cutting off all of your finger tips at the first knuckle.
That's what they basically do to cats when they declaw them. It is barbaric and indicative of a small brained selfish individual who advocates the use of it.
Yes and being spayed or neutered sound so lovely but no one preaches against that.

What does a human being do, when he sees a cat, dog or similar animal being sad: the same reaction. It's normal and lovely.

That's pretty damn cute. It`s hard to judge what the cat is thinking, maybe it`s trying to play or maybe this really is it`s way of showing the baby attention. It`s really not acting that different than when a baby kitten starts crying.
Mad_Gremlyn: you do realize you`re valuing an animal based on how aggressively it attacks people, right? Dogs kill more people than ANY other animal. Technically, dogs are far more dangerous and kill more people than sharks or bears or moose or any other animal you`ll find in the wild. When a cat is bad, at worst it`ll run away and you`ll never see it again. When a dog is bad we euthanize it because we`re afraid it`ll kill us. So yes, there are bad dogs and bad cats, but ask me which I`d rather have and the answer is obvious.
