July 24, 2011(CNN)-An 8 year-old boy was hanged by militants in Afghanistan's Helmand province after the boy`s father -- a police officer in the southern city of Gereshk -- refused to comply with militants` demands to provide them with a police vehicle, officials said.
Oct, 31 2012(Telegraph)-The first blast killed ten when their vehicle hit a bomb in the Kshata Dizor area of Musa Qala district at around 9am on Wednesday. The governor`s office said the dead included three women, four girls and three small children. A second blast in Kanjak area of the same district hit a motorcycle, killing one man and wounding one woman and three children.
Nov 8, 2012(BBC)-In the Helmand attack four women and two children were among the dead when their minibus - believed to have been to a wedding party - hit an improvised explosive device (IED) in Musa Qala. Six other people were wounded. A spokesman for the Helmand governor blamed the explosion on the Taliban.

f.uck off. They're not the same thing. What happens during a war is absolutely horrific, sure. but the coalition are GENERALLY not going out of their way to murder children. That Lanza kid had a clear intent when he took his mother`s guns and drove to that school, he wasn`t mistaking the identity of those 5/6 year olds,he wasn`t given bad intelligence, he wasn`t suffering from stress or trauma from being in combat too long, those kids weren`t `collateral damage` they WERE the intended targets. The soldier who murdered 16 afghanis back in march is one exception and could arguably be put in to that category, but the amount of media coverage was minimal in that case.
