well, he wouldn't really be able to see black, either. i had a friend who would temporarily go blind on occasion. he claimed that the most accurate depiction of what it`s like to be blind is this: close one eye. you can see out the other, but the closed eye doesn`t necessarily register black so much as nothingness.

also, I read somewhere that it`s like trying to see out your elbow.

Isn't white all the colours smooshed together and black an absence of colour? Silly blind person.

I'd describe colors to a blind person by the emotional impact most people get while seeing it.. But really it doesn`t matter much in the long run unless they just want to know. Colors have an underlying emotional impact.. Say you`re touching something made of ice-cold pointy metal. If it`s pink.. Despite all its harshness.. It has a girly impact.
