@cajun, that's a pretty piss-poor retort. They are a 7 year old operation who`ve been cited for numerous environmental violation. Where did I lie?
..and whilst business should consider sustainability, it is often in their interest to clear up, make the money and move on. You should fly over Northen Canada, and see the scale of clear felling. No need to do a more sensitive mosaic if you can clear huge blocks in one go.
In the case of this Oyster farm though, I don`t think its sharp practice, more like stupidity.

I assume that because it is true. Corporations do not have morality. People have morality. A corporations single solitary mission is to generate revenue. Without regulation corporations would do whatever they could to make as much money as possible.
Just look at what businesses did before regulations. Children worked in sweatshops. Employees had no rights. The environment got trashed.
