I did invigilation work for exams 2 weeks ago, I caught 8 cheaters overall I've seen students cheat on a quiz worth 1% of their final grade, and get booted out of uni for it. @CodeJockey has the right idea, stop being lazy.

My calculus prof let us bring a 3x5 card for our final. Mine looked very much like this guy's hand, front and back. Needless to say, I aced it.

I needed some formulas for an exam once - the course was heavy on rote learning - and scratched what I needed into the barrel of a clear Bic pen. They were invisible from a short distance away, but easy to read while slowly "twirling my pen in thought," a very natural-looking motion. I kept an untouched identical spare pen in case an invigilator wandered my way, but no one did. It was in the 70s, so I'm fine with fessing up now. 8-D
