patchgrabber: From your own source,
"We have not been able to corroborate some of the more sensational threat reporting such as that from a (redacted) service in 1998 saying that Bin Laden wanted to hijack a US aircraft to gain the release of "Blind Shaykh Umar Abd al-Rahman and other US-held extremists."
So please tell me what part of "We have not been able to corroborate"... "from a 1998, (Clinton era), (redacted) service..." Do you not understand?
So No, it wasn't specific enough.
However Gen. Petraeus` testimony today confirmed that the White House knew the Banghazi attack had "Al Qaeda involvement" and that that information was scrubbed from the CIA reports.

"Fox came along because they and other people on the right claimed the mainstream media had a liberal bias."
Actually Fox News had to create the false narrative that the MSM has a liberal bias in order to sell their sensational stories. "See the MSM isn't reporting what we are reporting. They obviously have a liberal bias." No, the other networks weren`t reporting the stories because they were sensational BS. And that is why Fox News is the worst thing to happen to America. Nothing has divided America more than Fox News. And like you said soon after MSNBC followed suit and became just as horrible with sensationalism. And now CNN is starting to get into the act although they still have kept a bit of journalistic integrity.

You know damn well that CIA report had no specific information about terrorists hijacking planes or flying them into buildings.
So a report that mentions aircraft hijacking on the front page isn't specific enough?
