MTV played decent rock music back in the 80s, but then they soon turned to pop crap aimed at 14-year-old girls.
Video may have killed the radio star, but Michael Jackson and Madonna killed MTV.

I stopped watching MTV a long time ago, when too much hip hop was on, like in the 90's.
