5Rats: I answered you. Other presidents were never so thoroughly obstructed before. You said they were, and I asked you for links or citations. Still waiting...

Please also cite some evidence for your claim of "got a bunch of them to vote in support" since JUST ONE Repub voted for it! Back up your idiocy once in a while!

Are you saying that the GOP did NOT shatter all filibuster records? Look it up. (and
it was right ON the subject, but whatever, you just make up the rules as you go.)

Arlen Specter was elected as a Republican for 44 years! Some RINO, eh? (yeah, there's no `H` in it) Why is it that, in your mind, a moderate, centrist Republican is not a Republican? And your derisive comment about the Warren Commission? Do you think the JFK death was a conspiracy? Is it possible we agree on something? Whoa...

Lastly, I do not tweet, do not read tweets, I`ve never been to Twitter.

You keep bringing up Obamacare as if that bolsters some point you are trying to make. Now you're saying your point is that Obamacare "WAS PASSED... with Repub support?" Is that what you`re saying?

The House vote was 220-215. Only ONE Republican voted for it. The Senate vote was 60-39, with ZERO Republicans voting for it. Is that really what you call "Repub support?" Gimme a break!

(I didn`t pay much attention to the silly waste of time and money that was the attempt to impeach Clinton, but I do know your reference to Hillary, nice try.)

@chalket: I asked why OTHER presidents were able to negotiate with their parties in minority positions, BUT OBAMA can't even do so with a solid majority!
I asked when did the GOP fili- Obamacare... oh yeah! The Dems negotiated and got a bunch of them to vote in supoport! AMAZING!

YOU blathered on about "record numbers" as if ONLY one side is responsible for that.

THAT is changing the subject.

Arlen Specter is a stooge. He sat on the Warren Commission ffs! He was ALWAYS a RHINO so what, again, is your point? OH YEAH! It`s impossible to get him to vote for the Dems! But he`ll actually change parties... wait, what?

This is to be expected @chalket: YOU get your `facts` from lefty tweets! LOLZ!
"Oooo! Someone tweeted it, it must be true!"

Oh yeah, you also constantly toss poo (insults) which -totally- makes you look -so- smart!

5Rats: So sorry to confuse you... exactly how did I "utterly change[d] the subject?" Just rebutting the points you brought up. Try to keep up, would you? (btw: the word is "biscuit")

Who's fault? The Grand Obstruction Party, of course! No, it is NOT "the oppositions JOB to OPPOSE," not in politics. They traditionally (meaning pre-Tea-Party) would discuss and debate and occasionally even COMPROMISE! <gasp!>

Frankly, I find it a mystery as to how the GOP/TP could so often keep such a unified front on their side. Quite impressive (and depressive). With such total control there really weren`t any "squishy votes" to find.

"A Repub even crossed parties"
Yes, but still not filibuster-proof. Why did he switch? "Since my election in 1980...the Republican Party has moved far to the right. I now find my political philosophy more in line with Democrats than Republicans."
