@Kaagan he did say that people would still go to school and would still be supervised, but I see where your coming from.

The IB programme and PYP methods seem to work pretty well. Kids get most of the information themselves and teachers teach meta-learning and focus on making sure all kids are progressing to their maximum potential. When my kids reached primary school age, I sat down and designed how I'd teach them if I were to teach them myself about the world to make the more effective at life. I was delighted to learn that their school was already doing that. I think kids in private schools here get the best education available in the world. They are safe, nurtured, coached and blend Asian study with Western free thinking and life balance.

@ Kaagan
- I think a good way around the motivation aspect is to have people in future schools to make sure students are doing the lessons they are assigned.

Start paying students and they'll do a lot f*cking better, also.

yeah but they are missing one very major key factor about this. school forces students to learn this material. the internet does not. so once you answered your burning question you will lose interest and proceed to something a lot less productive.

rosetta stone for example, i downloaded it to learn Spanish for a job interview that was coming up. in the interview they asked me if i spoke Spanish i lied and said yes, and never opened up rosetta stone again.
