@Burton Ian: Nietzsche was a nihilist, not an existentialist. Heideggar and Satre are well worth reading, but I'm disappointed no mention was made of Albert Camus. In my eyes the greatest existentialist writer in history... Great post, though, and an equally nice link, Burton...
