OK, I-A-B... true story...
Yesterday, around 9PM, Lady Fancy and I were having a conversation about the "spirit world" and supernatural powers, and people who can talk to dead people because of a TV show we were watching--something on Dateline or 20/20--who remembers.
Anyway, we had a pretty long conversation about it--maybe 45 minutes.
Next morning, on my way to the office--I noticed that the metal thing that holds firewood by my fireplace was moved perfectly from the side of the fireplace hearth (the flat brick landing in front of the opening) to the center. I was freaked out, but I left it like that because I wanted to show Lady Fancy later that day and ask her if she moved it. Later that day, when I showed it to her to ask her if she moved it--IT WAS MOVED BACK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEARTH.
Now it was just me and Fancypup in the house when this happened. Fancypup weighs 12 pounds, this metal thing that had a full bundle of firewood in it weighs at least 40 pounds. I've thought of every possible scenario and I can't think of anything other than something like a ghost or spirit that moved it. Lady Fancy says it's because we were talking about ghosts and spirits the night before.
So the question is: Do you believe in ghosts, spirits and other supernatural things and if so, please explain.
PS: No, Lady Fancy, myself or Fancypup were not drinking.

I, Fancylad, may have had a supernatural encounter--yes, on Halloween. Help make sense of this. This ever happen to you?
