i cant believe people are actually taking this seriously. The electoral college alows 270 votes total devided amongst the 50 states. How many votes per state is based on the State's poipulation, but it is set up in a way that NO combination of any kind can result in a tie. It is not physically possible. However, the college is flawed, as in 2004, George W. Bush had fewer citizen votes than his opponent, but won based on the electoral college.

The problem is not with the Electoral College. The problem is that we have completely lost our grasp on the concept that we are in fact a union of 50 sovereign states, not a 300-million-person mob.

Whole point of this is to ensure the little states aren't ignored. He said it himself big states have majority of population, why bother doing anything for the minority when you can just aid California Texas etc and damn the rest won`t lose votes for it...
