I know nothing about this woman beyond what I've seen here. I see a woman who received an inappropriate, trollish email: she`s not there to be an example, she`s there to deliver news. She decided to publicize it, which takes some guts, and did so in a way that showed both a lot of tolerance and a great deal of class. In doing so she became an excellent example for all!

Seriously, people need to leave other people the hell alone and mind their own business. The guy who wrote that email is a nosy do-gooder bully and should keep his own stupid thoughts to himself. You know who else is a bully who should mind their own crap? Michelle Obama and Michael Bloomberg. Keep your frickin' broccolli out of my chocolate cake and just go away! Leave people alone, for the love of Pete!

Maybe I am overly sensitive, and maybe she is, too, but I don't know why it`s a problem to want to stand up for yourself. It`s an issue that hits home for me, and like her, if I had someone question my character and job simply because I weigh too much, I would be highly offended as well.

It`s not about getting attention; it`s about making a point. He doesn`t know anything about her other than she`s a TV personality; he took time out of his day to call her out on something she wasn`t even doing! I highly doubt the woman got on TV and promoted an obese lifestyle every day instead of doing the news. She gave the news. Her weight is irrelevant, is her own issue, and should be left up to her to decide how and when she deals with her own issue. It`s none of anybody`s business, and it`s not their place to tell her how to live her life. She seems to be a strong woman who stands up for what she believes; I don`t see why she should be considered a bad example. Personality > appear

Penguinazul, you're just as bad as her. Most everyone here isn`t saying that she should be out of sight until she loses weight. She is fat, that is obvious. The majority of people here are saying she is overly sensitive about it, which clearly you are too. Seeing as how he sent her a private email, she should have just shrugged it off and went about her day. But no, she had to make a big scene over it, all in an effort to get a bunch of "you go girl" comments from other fat chicks. Christ, if this was my news station I would have changed the channel because seriously, WHO GIVES A drat?
