"Nothing other than the will of the Mexican people will 'knock the legs out from under` the drug cartels. Legalizing weed won`t stop the other drug trafficking going on, nor will it stop the human smuggling going on."
We`ll have to agree to disagree. I think taking away millions if not billions of dollars of money from them would definitely knock the drug kingpins down a notch or two. Legalize cocaine also and they are almost done. Yes cocaine is a horrible drug but people know that. I don`t really think anyone who is not doing it now would do it after it was legal. Pot on the other hand would have a brief upswing but things would settle down.

"At least Romney won't give you false hope and you know where he stands."
On one issue that I know of. Everything else I hear he is all over the place depending on the time and the audience. How many times does a campaign need to reboot?

markust: when Obama wins this election we will see a couple wonderful stance changes in him.
What you see is what you get, he's not changing anything, he had his opportunity to do so already and blew it all on passing Obamacare and raising our debt to $16 trillion.
All he`s going to do after the election is play more golf, whether or not he`s elected.
At least Romney won`t give you false hope and you know where he stands.

But the main problem is the black market demand, if people would quit doing drugs here and get sober there wouldn`t be any profit in it.
