I was amused that they told you how to blow people off, like leaving two cents as a tip when the service is really bad, or telling someone who's trying to sell you a religion that you believe in God "only on Tuesdays and Thursdays."

The peace sign reversed thing dates back to bows & arrows times in England. It's basically telling the other person that you`ll cut those two fingers from their hand, preventing them from using their bow & arrow. Saw it on Discovery Channel or was is History?
