@Gerry: No man, that's what we were trying to say: the US has fallen from what it once represented. What we were exemplifying was the extent of the mark

Yes, the US does take on many influences. We're a nation of immigrants. But to listen to the people here, you`d think the USA has had no impact whatsoever. The more things I pointed out that are American & now worldwide the more people denied US influence. Is it so shamefull? We used to be a really great country. Shame we`ve fallen from grace but I guess all nations do. But empires do leave their mark. The romans influenced the world. As did the british during their colonial time. Now the USA has, why all the anger at this suggestion?
Oh, I get it. You hate the US so you`d have to hate yourself if you were anything like us. Well, that`s okay, I understand.

@Gerry1of1: By that logic your good ol' USA takes influence more than it exports it, as loads and loads of the Billboards are either Canadian or British.

Y'all can deny all you want, you know it`s true and it`s a truth you hate to admit about yourselves. US culture has shaped your own countries. That doesn`t mean, and I never said, you gave up all of your culture, just that while the world hates us, you`re all doing you best to imitate us.
@ jendrian, you forgot LMFAO - they`re americans. So 3 of the top 10 are US. How many mexicans are on the top 10 in the US ... oh, NONE. Point made.
