I was actually trolling just a bit just to make the Atheists' day. I am Christian and I do believe that God created the universe but I do not believe that mortal men can fathom every detail of the creation. A day to God could be millions of years to man. I don`t believe that God had some pieces of the planet earth that he just jigsawed together. I believe that God is all knowing and he put the proper elements in place for the universe to form itself. The bible says the universe was created in 6 days, but like I said, I doubt the magnitude and majesty of it all could fit into a couple of pages of man-written literature.

" wow... isn't God amazing? "
Amazing at how the bastard makes so many people ignorant, yes. He does not exist, he never existed, he probably never will exist. However the one great thing that comes from christianity is that I am able to tell whether you are an ignorant person just by asking what your religious beliefs are.

You know, defendors87, if more people would just ask (sort of like you implied here), "Okay, we admit it, everything, and I mean, everything points to the earth and the universe being several billions years old, but, how is that incongruous with God having caused the Big Bang?" at least it'd be a more sound argument/point. So, my hat`s off to you for that. But, when every bit of evidence that we understand points to a billions-of-years-old Universe, it seems silly to not at least acknowledge it. So, good on ya. For those who so that God just made things *look* billions of years old, and also *planted* dinosaur bones to test faith, I just have to laugh. So, at least your point is better made. Or am I giving you too much credit?
