The caption could easily have worked just as well if it were a white guy behind it, the fact is however we don't have any pictures of white guys behind a TV while there`s a cute girl in lingerie standing in the same room. While I wouldn`t say the caption is inherently racist, it could be seen as being so.

Hmm... I'd have gone with: "Cable dude. It`s this decade`s `milkman`..." "Good new: Your cable is fixed. Bad new: Your wife was outta cash..." "Good new: Your cable is fixed... For the third time this month..." "HOLY SH*T!!! Is that a 43-inch Sony?!" Cable Dude: "Look a that smile. Another satisfied customer. Now to hookup the cable..."

what in this picture would make someone think the TV is being stolen?
being behind it at a weird point would do it i think...like i said, you guys picked a boring interpretation, maybe he's sulking in the corner, maybe he`s antisocial and looking away from the girl, maybe he was photoshopped in
it`s not as if fancy is calling the cops in an outraged fit, in all likelihood the guy probably is just setting up the cables...just take the bleedin` joke rather than being automatically offended ffs
