How can people really criticize someone who is giving this much back to the community? Get off your "I think I'm smart and a critical thinker" high horse and go do something half this good instead. Oh you can see the possible flaws in this? Good for you want a cookie? You sure are a rebel and a free thinker! I bet you`ll solve alllll the worlds problem with your keen senses of observation.

I am 45 years old and this man delivered me, as well as most of my family. He has delivered more babies than the population of the town he serves. As for the concerns posted here: His files would be transferred to a new doctor. They have staff to transcribe them. His nails may be long, but he does not do OB/GYN or proctology, so you’re safe. He only practices basic medicine now. If a patient comes in with a serious case he refers them. He is a very gracious and generous man who has dedicated his entire life to his community. To uninsured small farmers his fee allows them access to care. Care is what he provides. Maybe just advice or a point in the right direction, but it’s done with care. The last time I was in his office, I hadn't seen him for almost 25 years, he remember me by name before looking at my chart. Yeah, he may be old, but he`s the best at providing real care. You doctor don`t know you and only see`s you as a paycheck. Ours is our friend.

Is he still up to it? Is he missing things a younger, more up-to-date doctor would catch? Being old timey is all well and good, but not if impacts on the patients.
