One would belive 2,5 Billion US dollars would be enough to include a HD camera.

@Listypoos The statement you quoted was not meant to state achievement. All the points in it were regarding factors that would affect the payload (camera's). Specifically the camera that would`ve had to record through some amazing heat shield and not burn up or be pure static from well the static and which is by far not one of the main cameras that will be used for research. So I understand why much room was not given to that camera`s development for it`s ability to record a few minute video as it fell. I hope you haven`t completely misunderstood.

tedgp: sadly.. I asked in a forum: " why can't we see the images live as they are transmitted to us" and they were acting like i was the spawn of satan or something, and were doing everything they could to justify the pictures not being available to the public as soon as they arrive at earth. Which makes absolutely no sense if it was `for mankind`
