reasonable point, except I didn't suggest that NZ was in Australia. We could compare medal tables in a number of ways; NZ or UK vs USA for example. Re the legacy, I`ve lived in London on and off since 1961; I worked in Stratford for seven years; in fact I was up there this morning.Now if you want to believe carroll3`s version, that`s your right. I`ll go on personal experience and the evidence of my own eyes and beg to differ.

emmettyville - nzer in australia? That's a NZ flag. In which case - @mikesex - the medal table looks pretty good from emmettyvilles end. NZ has more medals per population than any other country. After watching this I feel sorry for Londoners. Course it`ll only get worse in the coming months when the actual Olympic debt sets in.
