A minister is not a legal entity, they are "men of the cloth" not judges. Secular judges confer legality. All of which I *just said*. Ministers confer sacramental status according to their religious tradition. That's it.
So if two people go to a church in the USA and have a wedding as part of a Christian ritual, conducted by an officially recognised Christian cleric in an officially recognised Christian church with an officially recognised Christian marriage service...they`re not legally married? Their wedding has no legal status at all? In the eyes of the law, they are still single and have no marriage-related rights or responsibilities?
Is that really true?
Or does it double as a legal wedding as well as a religious one?

Almost every time I see someone like you make an ignorant or bigoted conservative statement I just look over at their age and am relieved that they and their worthless brethren will be gone soon. Society progresses when the bigots die off.
Maybe so, but not until I've spent every last f***ing penny you`ve paid into Social Security, you gullible liberal f***tard! Ha ha ha ha ha!
