Fwoggie you chimp, if you'd done me the courtesy of reading my post, you`d have seen I called it football. You have an irony deficiency. Also, soccer is an acceptable name for it, it derives from association football. FredSpudman - It's football, not soccer. Justification - it (the vast majority of the time) involves feet and a round sphere, aka a ball.
American football on the other hand involves mostly hands and an egg shaped ball. Therefore, technically, it should be called handeggs, to be accurate.
