If 40% of gun deaths are homicides, 3% are accidents, and 2% are justified shootings (based on 2005 CDCP statistics), what exactly makes pro-gun people think that more guns somehow means *less* homicides and accidental shooting deaths?? (The other 55% are suicides.)

every one should be armed for defence. but then the laws would have to change to let us use them as the crims have more rights than the victims. the old fella did just fine . . . he has more courage than the rest of us.

There are many robberis where they shoot the witness/es. But yes, it could go wrong. The crooks might have accidentally shot a lot of people. "What ifs" don`t mean anything. I could say "What if" their parents raised them propperly then none of this would have happened.
