The moon landing isn't even on the list. The Kennedy assassination is several places behind Whitney Houston`s death. People need to get some sense of historical perspective.

So a bunch of celebrity funerals was bigger than the moonlanding ey? Everybody dies! That is not sensational in any way.

Yep, for the most part this list was bullpoo. Whitney Houston's Death shouldn`t have been anywhere on this list as well as several others.

Fwoggie2-"Katrina, nah, only one city."
Just because one city (New Orleans) got the majority of the publicity does not mean only one city was affected.
I live two states (150 miles) away from New Orleans. We got 6' of water through our house and weren`t able to move back in for over a year (on the plus side, my wife got to redecorate).
1,833 confirmed dead in 7 STATES, 700 missing. Hardly `one` city.

this was a BS list. Mine would include Waco, The moon landing, The shooting of Ronald Regan, the man infront of the tanks at Tiananmen Square, and the evacuation of the embassy at Saigon. At least this list has the JFK anouncement by Kronkite and the Twin Towers falling.
