He speaks out about how the US has forgotten what has made it great, its education, science, and creativity. You say he, "doesn't appear to do anything all that useful himself", but that only demonstrates how little know of what he has done. For example, did you know that he has testified before the Senate`s on the importance of education and science? There`s more too, look it up. You attempt to diminish what he`s said by saying he`s, "Hardly finding the cure for cancer", but by that absurdly high standard you diminish almost all tasks, don`t you? What he`s pushing for is the kind of educational and monetary support from the government that could bring about that cure for cancer, so it`s practically the next best thing! I don`t know who pissed in your cereal, but you`re taking it out on the wrong man.

(All of which are not based on facts, but more on your opinion and information you pull out of thin air.)
