ok, maybe i'm taking this the wrong way, but aren`t you just saying that God is the root of the creation of everything? ya know like he just made stuff and let it go from there? because if so, i dont see any reason for you to make any reference to the Bible, you`re simply making your own theology/philosophy. and so what? thats one chapther of one book, what about everything else? what of noah? what of moses? what of the other prophets? and obviously, what of Jesus?

thank you for your support, JLiu. and I am a believer in God. However, I don't view the Bible literally. For instance, the Bible says that the Earth (and all else) was created in 6 days (on the seventh God rested)...I believe this...however... i don`t believe they were six days of 24 hours... they would be days of billions upon billions of years.

so wait, hobyandy, do you belive in God or not? because, going by that belief still says there is a God(the Christian one or other wise), so wouldn't we be obligated to that god? which is all without saying,(correct me if i`m wrong) that no religious book/writing(at least from the old world) mentions any such thing?(and yes, i do realize that evolution and darwinism came later)
