I`m not trying to start a flame war or anything, but frankly, I`ve never encountered any "Southern Prejudice" before from people anywhere else in the US. Uneducated, lazy rednecks are certainly not only located in the rural South, you can find uneducated trash in any part of the country in both urban and rural settings, so to make a blanket statement like that about the south is pretty ignorant. In actuality a lot of rural "country folk," especially farmers, are extremely well educated. That`s one reason why we have agricultural colleges like Clemson and Texas A&M.
